Tanzania Children's Concern
Tanzania Children's Children Concern is a registered Non Governmental Organization working in Moshi Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. It was founded by a group of fifteen visionaries and registered on 20th of February 2006.
The main objectives of the organization are:-
1. To build a school in order to provide quality education in the community of Moshi
2. To create awareness and sensitize the community on the effects of HIV/AIDS
3. To build a health center in order to provide health services to our community
Currently the organization runs a school called St Timothy's Pre and Primary School
Organization(TCC) Leadership
Tanzania children's concern is lead by a board of trustees with four members namely:-
1. Rev. Mark Mrina-Chairperson
2. Mr. Godfrey Mbwambo
3. Rev. James Nathaniel
4. Ms. Beatrice Elias
St, Timothy's School
St Timothy school is an English medium Pre & Primary school located in Moshi rural-Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. It is located in a village called Mvuleni about 15 km from the Moshi town center.
The school is run by a Non-Governmental Organization called Tanzania children concern (TCC).
Our main objective is to provide education support to the marginalized children of Moshi, we have a system in which every two students who pay school fee sponsor one student who is most vulnerable student to get free education.
Currently we have a population of 385 students from kindergarten to primary seven, the school progress is academically good where by in the national exam results, our school takes a position of 5 out of 267 schools of Moshi.
All of our students who finish grade seven pass their national final exams and join both private and government secondary schools.
The school is surrounded by other six villages whose vulnerable children also get educational support at our school. St Timothy’s is the only school in Moshi that offers free quality education to these communities.
